My Encounter with Rhyno !!!!!!!!!
The first time that i saw Rhyno was at the BCW (Border City Wrestling) show on March 7, 2001. I fell in love with him because he was so gorgeous. At that time, he was off from ECW because they had gone bankrupt, and being a student from the CAN-AM school, he always came back to participate to the show.
On April 18, 2001, it was his last appearance to the BCW show because of his new contract with the WWF. That night, he fought Tommy Dreamer for the BCW championship belt. Tommy had won the belt the month prior to. The match was awesome and at the end, Rhyno received a standing ovation and a nice speech from Tommy Dreamer.
My friend Pat, who is an ex-wrestler told me that if I wanted to meet Rhyno, to wait in the parking lot, next to his truck. Pat showed me where he was parked and I waited for him. I didn't want to look like a groupie or anything like that, I just wanted to wish him good luck and to let him know that i was building a web page for him. I waited about 30 minutes until I saw him walking. He had his hair in a ponytail which showed me his beautiful face.
When he got to his truck, there was a few kids who wanted to have stuff autographed by him too. So he signed for the kids and then, he turned to me. I asked him if I could take a picture of him, but he took my camera, gave it to one kid and said, to the kid, "Can you take a picture of us?"
I was so surprised, but hey, if it's that what he wants, I have no problem with this. Then he asked the kid to take another picture in case the first one didn't work out. After taking the pictures, I shook his hand and wished him good luck in the WWF.
He also told me and the kids to watch Smackdown the next night because something cool would happened. When the kids left, I told him that I was building a web page for him and he got really excited about it. He told me to give him the address next time I would meet him..... so he can check it out...... Then, he got into his truck and left. I will always remember this day, of meeting one of the sweetest wrestler of the WWF.
